So how did I prepare for the Software Freedom Day?

Weeks before the event, I am interested in joining in this event since as a Computer Science student I certainly suppose this is associated on my course. I read first more about the Software Freedom Day on Facebook, Event Report on the 2010 Software Freedom Day.

It took me some time to think about joining that activity since I am far from Manila, and Sept. 17 is the day just after our 3 day exams are concluded. I cannot resist the urge so I booked (and bought) right away a plane ticket back and forth just to attend the Software Freedom Day 2011. I didn’t mind the expenses. Masusulit naman talaga ang pag sali sa Software Freedom Day 2011.

I’ll be arriving in Manila around 8:25 so Im gonna be late a bit. Walk off the airport and head to University of Santo Tomas and take pleasure in the Plenary and Breakout sessions the organizers lined up for the SFD Day. And fly back after the event ends to where I belong to complete academic stuffs. I possibly will bring my laptop...of course and nothing else.

Looking forward to the approaching Software Freedom Day 2011 @ UST.

(I just hope the flight will not get delayed...hahahaha!)
